Apply for CPD event approval
Please complete our application form to request CPD approval for your event and to gain the opportunity to promote it through the College.
You will need to supply us with an event programme as part of your application, which should include the event title, and clear aims and objectives. We will also need full contact information for the organiser, location and date information and duration/CPD credits proposed for the event - one CPD credit may be awarded for every hour of educational time within the event. If you do not have all of this information as yet, please wait until you do so before you complete your application.
The application form also offers you the choice to pay for your CPD approval by invoice or online at the time of application. Please have your payment card/details to hand when you start your application.
Please make every effort to make your CPD event approval application at least 6 weeks in advance of the event. This will allow plenty of time to process your application and, most importantly, time to promote your event.
One final note, the CPD event approvals service is for events that should aid professional development for College members; events that are focused on supporting College examinations will not gain approval.
CPD event approval fees
Event approval fees vary by provider type and by the length of the event.

Registered charity | £50 per day, capped at £250 |
Non-commercial | £100 per day, capped at £500 |
Commercial | £200 per day, capped at £1,000 |

We will send you a confirmation email once your event has been approved. On approval, you will be able to:
- use our logo on your promotional material
- advertise your event on our Public events calendar
- promote your event in the College Bulletin (subject to publication deadlines)
- advertise your event on Twitter.
