The theme of this year’s competition is ‘Pathology in a changing climate.’ The competition provides the opportunity for people worldwide to showcase what they have been working on individually or as part of a team.
A range of research ideas across all specialties was highly encouraged – from the event’s theme to more general pathology-related work that entrants are proud of and want to spotlight.

Judges, RCPath President Elect Dr Bernie Croal, RCPath Lay Advisor Dr Jeff Allen and Dr Claire Gordon Consultatnt in Infection, for the UKHSA Rare and Imported Pathogens Laboratory will consider a variety of features to decide the first, second, and third prizes winners who will be annouced at the virtual conference for International Pathology Day on Wednesday the 8 November.
