Important announcement: GOV.UK webpages hosting UK SMI documents soon to be decommissioned
5 December 2023
We would like to inform you that the migration of the UK Standards for Microbiology Investigations (UK SMI) from the GOV.UK website to the Royal College of Pathologists (RCPath) website has been successfully completed.
As a part of this transition, the GOV.UK webpages hosting UK SMIs will be decommissioned by Tuesday 12th December 2023. To ensure a seamless experience for our users, all links to the GOV.UK pages will be automatically redirected to the relevant pages on the RCPath website. This is where you can access all UK SMI documents in the preferred PDF format.
We kindly ask you to use the RCPath website instead of GOV.UK when accessing UK SMIs going forward. We also encourage you to bookmark or save the UK SMI webpage on the RCPath website to your favourites folder, facilitating easier access to our repository of UK SMI documents.
Your feedback is important to us. If you encounter any issues or have suggestions, please email [email protected]
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation throughout this migration process, and we thank you for your continued support.
