60 at 60 – People in pathology
During the College’s Diamond Jubilee year in 2022, we have been delighted to celebrate our pathology specialties and, in particular, the people who have been working tirelessly both in front and behind the scenes. It has been a privilege to throw a spotlight on individuals who have contributed in so many different ways towards the delivery of high-quality services, research and innovation together with education and training.
The individuals highlighted here have been profiled in our four Diamond Jubilee Bulletin issues, podcasts and other College activities. They are just a few of the many consultant colleagues, trainees and specialty doctors from a medical or scientific background across the 17 specialties and many subspecialties represented by the College.
There are so many others that we cannot include here. However, we are reliant on our collective efforts in ensuring that pathology services are responsive to the changing needs of patients and that we are investing in the future with adoption of new technologies and a well-trained workforce. All our contributions are therefore recognised towards the success of our specialties.
